Electrician

Phillips Academy seeks a full time Electrician in the Office of Physical Plant. The electrician will plan and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities electrical systems and equipment. The qualified candidate must possess a current Journeyman Electrician License from Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure – Board of Electricians, have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and computer literacy skills. Working knowledge of fire alarm systems, control wiring, low, medium, and high voltage electricity, and experience in reading construction documents, shop drawings, layout work, and material lists. Physical ability to perform all job functions as required in a facilities setting. Overtime required as necessary. Must have and use personal vehicle while performing job duties and be on an On-Call rotation.
