Varsity Boys Lacrosse, Assistant Coach

Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for the boys’ varsity lacrosse program for Spring 2023.

Working alongside the varsity lacrosse head coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.  Experience playing and/or coaching lacrosse required and experience working with high school-age students preferred.  Full background check required.  Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) from mid-March through the third weekend of May.  Afternoon practices (3:15 – 5 p.m. and games Wednesday afternoons as well as most Saturdays).  Coaching responsibilities include an out-of-state spring break training trip in mid-March alongside the varsity coaching staff.
This position is not eligible for benefits except those required by law.

• Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be a role model to students.
• Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff
