Student and Recent PA Graduates Reunion WorkersThe
Office of Alumni Engagement at Phillips Academy seeks multiple current students
and recent PA graduates for pre-reunion weekend and reunion weekend workers. Pre-reunion
work will include assembling registration packets for attendees (stuffing name
tags, drink and t-shirt tickets, and stickering badges), signage printing and
placement, and other event prep tasks as needed. Tasks during reunion weekend
focus on greeting alumni and guests, working the registration and information
services desks (including app download and assistance), campus tours, and
helping out with miscellaneous tasks throughout campus. These tasks include
guiding guests to the correct dorms, greeters outside of Back to the Classroom
sessions, gathering groups for class photos and open house tours of the Addison
or Peabody, delivering materials as needed (serving as a "runner"),
and setting up spaces for individual class events and activities. Successful
candidates:
- Will possess a friendly and helpful demeanor and will work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Have an ability to interact with and speak confidently with a wide variety of alumni and guests.
- Will be available to work Monday, June 5 – Sunday, June 11, 2023.
- Some physical labor required.
Basic knowledge of administrative office tasks is a plus. Tour guide experience is a plus, please include in your application.
